What does the Colon do? 

It processes food with the help of healthy bacteria that the small intestine didn’t digest, it absorbs water, minerals, and vitamins from the food and then it stores feces.

What is the Common Bile Duct? 

It is a tube that carries bile from the gallbladder and liver through the pancreas and takes it into the small intestine. 

What does the Common Carotid Artery do? 

It supplies blood to your face, neck, and brain. 

What does the Common Iliac Artery do?

The Common Iliac Artery carries blood to the lower part of our body. 

What does the Conchae do? 

It helps to make the nasal cavity bigger to provide humidification and warm the air as it goes to our lungs. 

What does the Cornea do? 

It helps to protect our eyes from ultraviolet radiation and other infiltrates. It also performs the first refraction of light onto the lens. 

What does the Coronary Arteries do?

They bring blood to the heart. 

What does the Corpus Callosum do?

It connects the left and right cerebral hemispheres of our brains. 

What does the Cortex do? 

It is located on the top of the cerebrum and it performs essential functions of our brain like memory, learning, reasoning, thinking, emotions, consciousness, problem-solving, and sensory functions.

It is the space our skull makes that holds our brain.

Our skull is made up of four cranial fossea, each of which houses a different part of the brain. 

What does the Crista Galli do? 

It separates the olfactory bulbs which are on either side of the olfactory fossae. 

What does the Cuboid Bone do? 

It is a place where muscles attach and it acts like a pulley that helps you point your foot downward. 

What does the Cuticles do?

It helps to protect our fingernails from bacteria and fungus from getting in between our nails and skin. They also make cells to help our nails grow.

It is a pocket of fluid, like a blister that can form anywhere on or in your body.

They are a set of 12 nerves paired together. They are located in the back of our brains and send electrical signals between our face, neck, torso, and brain. They help us smell, hear, feel sensations, and taste. 

What is the Cranium?

It is the bone that forms a case around the brain. 

What does the Cribriform do?

It allows the olfactory nerves to go to the roof of the nasal cavity. 

What does the Cricoarytendoid Muscle do?

The Cricoarytendoid Muscle helps to lengthen and tighten the vocal folds causing a rise in pitch. 

What does the Crista Galli do?

It is a place for the membranes surrounding our brain to attach.
